Captain

Xavier Midavaine

With the experience of both sailing and motor yachts, Xavier has an extensive knowledge of the mechanics and cruising. He started in the yachting industry back in 2003 as second mechanic onboard of M/Y LADY MONACA K, 56 meters and made his way through chief mechanic few years later on M/Y FETIA URA, M/Y AFRICAN QUEEN, and S/Y PURITAN. Before joining this beautiful catamaran, he was captain, 4 years in a row, on the 18-meter M/Y FLORA for charter. Xavier knows the Leeward Islands very well as he lived more than 2 years in St Martin and will make you discover his preferred places: Tintamarre and Anguilla. His technical knowledge and friendly personality ensures security and a relaxing atmosphere onboard. Xavier likes to climb and ski in his free time.

Chef

Xavier Combot

Xavier started to work in the yachting industry as a chef more than 10 years ago on the 24-meter motor yacht LAST CHANCE. Following this first experience, he then became chef on LUISAMAY and later on LEI MAONIA, respectively 32 and 26 meters. More importantly, Xavier has sailed around 4 859 miles and cooked on board the 50-meters JADE 959 in South-East Asia, Middle East, and Northern Europe for a total of 3 years. Xavier’s professionalism and signature can be seen in the meals he prepares, as well as his dynamic personality, which is reflected through his colorful creations. Xavier’s cuisine is mainly focused around the French one; his signature dish is the Couscous. Always enthusiastic and humoristic, he will take care of the guests' requests with a smile. While he is not working, Xavier likes to play tennis, table tennis, and acting in plays as an amateur comedian.

Stewardess

Vanessa

Vanessa entered the yachting industry, though her sailing experience is much larger. With many years of navigation on sailing boats, between regattas and conveying several weeks a year, Vanessa was in charge of the preparation, watchkeeping, of the helm and crew meals in Mediterranean Sea, Caribbean, Atlantic Sea and the English Channel. Those sailing experiences also increased her knowledge, especially of the local culture in the Caribbean where she can give good restaurants’ addresses and spots to anchor. Joyful and positive, Vanessa will make the cruising pleasant for all the guests while keeping her professionalism and attention to detail. She is devoted to making the clients feel comfortable and happy all along the charter by pampering them.
Vanessa is fond of sailing, swimming and travelling when not working.
