The Eastern part of Sardinia cannot be missed

PORTO CORALLO: necessary step if, started from Villasimius, you feel the need to make a stop before the ascent along the coast of Ogliastra.

ARBATAX: the first landing in the beautiful coast of Ogliastra, the most imposing and wild Sardinia full of picture-postcard coves, such as Cala Goloritze, Cala Luna and Sisine, the Grotta del Bue Marino. The port is located in the village. A visit to the Red Rocks is a must, beautiful cliffs of red porphyry, which attract tourists from all over the world, just a few minutes walk.

SANTA MARIA NAVARRESE: not far from Arbatax, is the starting point for the discovery of the Ogliastra Gulf. Since June 2005, the local Marina of Baunei was equipped with the “Pequod”, a lifter that allows access on board vessels to people with disabilities, making it the “first accessible port” of Sardinia. On the ground, a walk in the country will be an immersion in the friendliness, in the Mediterranean vegetation and culinary delights that make the famous Ogliastra.

PORTO OTTIOLU: After the Ogliastra enchantment diving, and its sheer cliffs, the landscape stretches in the beautiful bay of Porto Ottiolu, famous for its beaches, delicious local produce and bustling night life, complement ideal of navigation.

SINISCOLA: From Berchida beach to the dunes of Capo Comino to the village of Saint Lucia Fishermen, the Siniscola surrounding area is full of attractions. Wide choice of excursions into the interior, that allow you to enjoy a various and pristine area. Together with the nearby town of San Teodoro and Budoni, offer the significant advantage of a smaller boat traffic than the northern coast, which allows you to fully enjoy the natural wealth of the area.

OLBIA: fast growing city, with an international airport connected to the main European cities, Olbia is the gateway between the east and north coasts. The CS Charter provides a convenient landing place in the modern Marina of Olbia. It’s up to you to choose the route. Whatever will be, it will be still memorable even out of season.

COSTA SMERALDA: Exceeded Porto Rotondo and Portisco Marina, you get to the famous Costa Smeralda, renowned throughout the world as the favorite destination for the international jet set. The area, about twenty kilometers included in the municipality of Arzachena, is rich in creeks, small beaches while few miles away the islands of Soffi, Mortorio, Mortoriotto, Bisce and the Maddalena archipelago, which make intriguing navigable area but also full of shoals and reefs that pay maximum attention.

CANNIGIONE: the village of Cannigione, with a large and well-equipped marina, has always been the natural harbor of the town of Arzachena. Its bay is an ideal location for sailing regattas.

PALAU: many beaches, alternating with stretches of granite coast, introduce the town of Palau, the gateway to the archipelago of La Maddalena and Corsica. The surrounding area is full of beaches, nestled in the lush and fragrant Mediterranean maquis. Near the village is the Bear Rock, a granite hill 122 meters shaped by weathering, famous for his bear form and visited every year by thousands of people.

ARCHIPELAGO OF LA MADDALENA: between Sardinia and Corsica, the archipelago is distinguished by its pristine beauty. Access to the islands and neighboring seas is entirely bound by the same park Regulation (www.lamaddalenapark.it) established in 1994 to protect the area. The archipelago has rugged coastlines and reefs, which require the utmost prudence in navigation, equal to the intense traffic of boats. His town is La Maddalena, born as a fishing village and more recently linked to the activity of the NATO military base in Santo Stefano, decommissioned in 2008.

CAPRERA: Among a lot of nature, is a must plunge in history.
