You get to sail past hundreds of islands and islets, in the clearest blue sea you've ever seen, and then stop at lovely restaurants, in the middle of nowhere, literally, to enjoy the local delicacies and excellent wines.
Day 1: Zadar - The Island of Zut
You start your day in Zadar and head towards the island of Zut. This is the largest uninhabited island of Croatia, and would definitely feel like something straight out of Robinson Crusoe novel if it weren't for the ACI Zut marina and the restaurant Festa, one of the most popular restaurants in the Kornati Archipelago. Moor right in front of Festa and order their traditionally prepared fish, homemade bread and olive oil. Then take a small hike to the top of the island to enjoy the magnificent view of the Kornati Archipelago. If you are a history savvy you will have to see the remains of the Byzantine fortress nd the Early Christian basilica.
Day 2: The Island of Zut - Islet of Levrnaka - Kornat Island
The second day takes you to the Kornati National Park, where your yacht will be moored in Lojena Cove, on the islet of Levrnaka. Silvery white sand covers the bottom of Lojena, the only sandy beach in the archipelago. Have lunch on your yacht or go to the traditional restaurant, Levrnaka. Towards the end of the day you will cruise to the restaurant Opat, on Kornat Island, where you will enjoy a fine dining experience in the remotlest place imaginable.
Day 3: Kornat Island - Islet of Ravni Zakan - Zadar
After spending the night off Kornat Island your yacht will set off to the very heart of the Kornat Archipelago, the Islet of Ravni Zakan. There you will find not only the perfect swimming spot, but also the restaurant Zakan. The menu consists of local fish and meat specialities, and we recommend trying the fragrant island lamb and the fisherman's peka (a traditional metal bell used to bake food on an open fire). We also recommend taking a hike up to the top of the island to take another view of the archipelago. At the end of the day, you will head back to Zadar, and your Kornati gastronomic adventure is over, but we have a feeling that you will want to come back for more.
