Anegada is the only coral island in the BVI and is characterized by its nearly flat elevation, the sandy beaches, clear springs bubbling from coral beds and the striking coral reefs.
Anegada is the fourth largest barrier reef in the world. This stunningly beautiful island is surrounded by pristine, white sandy beaches and is the only inhabited coral island in the archipelago.
Although small, it offers loads of attractions like snorkeling, scuba diving and even scooters for the more adventurous. Swim in the crystal, clear waters or take relaxing beach walks while looking out for flamingos, turtles, and iguanas.
The local fishermen provide the majority of the fresh fish and lobster cath for the rest of the BVI and it’s miles of south shore flats has a large population of bonefish, making this island a popular destination for fly fishing.
