The 7th Mediterranean Yacht Show at the beginning of May 2022 was as successful as expected!
The exhibition saw the port of Nafplion, Greece, filled with much energy and enthusiastic participants. Team Boataffair explored the outstanding selection of luxury crewed yachts, getting to know captains and the yachts’ crew members. We could all feel and see the signature hospitality that Greece is known for.
In addition to the incredible lineup on show, and the introduction to the superior services and opportunities available on board, we enjoyed exchanging thoughts on the experience of chartering in Greece. We loved socializing with other industry professionals, speaking with the yachts' professional crew and brainstorming routes and places around the stunning Greek islands waiting to be discovered.
We have had so many beautiful conversations, inspected a large amount of luxury yachts and enjoyed great food and deserts onboard many vessels. The superyacht built in 2011 by Golden Yachts is a modern motor yacht and combines powerful performance and pure luxury. The yacht with 40m in length accommodates 10 to 12 guests in her 5 comfortable and spacious staterooms, each with en-suite bathrooms. She is the perfect yacht for a large group of friends or family in the Mediterranean Sea. We really love the 3 deck areas - the flybridge, the main aft deck and the bow area - for dining, lounging and relaxing.
Meaning “One Life” in Greek, she was built by the esteemed Vitters yard in the Netherlands. With her gleaming navy blue hull, MIA ZOI has featured prominently in the travel documentary series, “My Greek Odyssey” and is completely at home among the fascinating and picturesque islands dotting the azure Aegean Sea.
The deck spaces comprise an expansive foredeck with sunpads, a covered sundeck with dining table and seating, as well as a large aft deck with table, chairs and lounge seating, plus access to the oversize swim platform and garage filled with watertoys.
My highlight: Movie nights under the stars on her large sundeck with cinema screen are just one of the highlights aboard this superb luxury charter yacht.
One of our highlights at the show without hesitation. S/Y Baracuda Valletta is a 50m Perini Navi sailing yacht, a typical masterpiece designed by Perini's in-house naval architects teamed with New Zealander Ron Holland. The yacht boasts contemporary, minimal, clear lines based on the concepts of light, space and proportion. She accommodates up to 10 guests in 5 luxurious suites; one full beam master cabin with his and hers bathrooms, two double and two twin cabins with ensuite facilities. Her master cabin is incredibly spacious and modern!
We loved this stunning Sunreef 80, a beautiful luxury catamaran. Built in 2021, the yacht offers unparalleled space on board and contemporary style for up to 10 guests. Her two massive hulls boast 5 luxury staterooms, including 2 king-sized cabins with walk-in wardrobe and 3 queen cabins. Each cabin features en-suite facilities and flatscreen TV. Her living space has a central lounge with panoramic views and opens onto the bow terrace and cockpit. Our highlight: The clever designed flybridge offers a Jacuzzi, a fully equipped wet bar, BBQ and large relaxing areas.
The Bugari 112 is a stunning superyacht available for crewed charters throughout Greece with utmost luxury and comfort. Featuring 5 cabins with en-suite facilities, she is perfect for larger groups of up to 12 guests.
In 2013 an ambitious project was conceived to restore the superyacht designed by naval architect Vincenzo Ruggiero and built by Bugari shipyard to her full glory, then man her to the highest standard so as to turn her into a point of reference in luxury yacht charters!
The yacht is now state of the art even for today's standards as all new trends of naval design have been implemented in the hull.
