a) The period of validity of the Contract can only be changed in agreement with the YCO and according to the existing possibilities.
b) Cancellation by the Charterer up to eight weeks before the start of the journey – cancellation fee depending on the payments already made. After this deadline the full amount has to be paid. It is recommended to the Charterer to take up a special insurance in case of cancellation.
c) If there is a possibility to re-charter the craft, (either in part or in full), 10% of the charter fee will be withheld to cover relevant expenses. The remaining sum will be refunded to the Charterer by the YCO.
d) Defects, incorrect recordings of instruments or other problems with gear or equipment do not entitle the Charterer to either refuse check-in, stop the trip or raise financial claims – provided correct navigation is possible by applying classical navigation methods, such as position fixing by bearing, dead-reckoning navigation etc. and if safety of ship and crew is guaranteed by good seamanship.
Marko was born in 1982. Croatia, started sailing at the age of 6 at Optimist class. He grew up sailing through small Olympic classes and later as a skipper and crew member on larger sailboats actively competing on regattas.
As a student, Marko started to work as a professional skipper on various sailboats, motor yachts and power catamarans. Although he finished engineering university, he decided to dedicate his life to sea and sailing. His knowledge and attention to safety guarantees a successful cruise. Marko's extensive charter experience in the whole Mediterranean Sea, especially in the Adriatic Sea is invaluable.
Marko holds Master commercial yachting 500GT tickets issued by the Kingdom of Belgium along with other STCW and scuba diving certificates. Marko is passionate about fishing, skiing and traveling.
Šime is born in Ražanac and his cooking career started in Zagreb, where he grew up and finished a chef's school. As the time went by, Šime became a chef in a well known restaurant in Zagreb, after years of work on yachts in Italy and Croatia.
He upgraded his cooking skills by finishing a pastry course in Aspira in Zagreb. Šime is a creative chef that will surely spice up your charter holidays.
Marina was born and raised in Split. She has a Master degree in Hotel and Tourism Management. She was working in the fine dining restaurants before her passion for the sea brought her to the yachting industry where she spent the last 7 years working with some very famous clients and very demanding owners in Italy, France, Spain and Greece.
She was working in the capacity of a Stewardess, Cook, Personal Assistant and Head of the interior department on Superyachts. Marina enjoys doing yoga, rock climbing, cycling, traveling and reading a good book.
Whatever Marina does, she does with passion. She is discrete and she has a positive outlook under some stressful circumstances. You can always find her with a smile on her face, there is always a laugh when she is around, bringing joy to your holiday.
Born in Germany and raised right next to Marina, Ivan has been passionate about boats since he was a little boy. He started his yachting career at his early age as a mariner in a marina.
During his career process, Ivan has been working on sailing yachts, catamarans and motor yachts and is very familiar with all the aspects in the yachting industry.
Ivan is fluent in English and German. His positive attitude and will to make your holiday as better as it can be are Ivan's top virtues.
