With stunning modern design by the Italian design house Pininfarina and naval architecture by Olesinki, the British-built Princess Y72 flybridge yacht is a marvel of engineering and clever design.
A high-volume yacht for her size, the Princess Y72 offers a superb charter layout. She accommodates up to eight guests in four contemporary, light-filled staterooms, including a full-beam master that is reached via a private spiral staircase leading down from the salon. The master stateroom is a vision in space and light, finished with linen feature walls, Livorno stone leather, and a statement mirror in bronze tint, as well as a generous ensuite. A VIP stateroom with an ensuite spans the width of the yacht forward, while two twin cabins located midships can be converted into two doubles, and share an ensuite. All cabins have large windows that imbue this lower accommodation with an airy, luxurious atmosphere.
The sense of light and space continues up on the main deck, where huge panoramic windows wrap right around the salon, and the decor of floorboards, pale timber and cream lounges consolidate the contemporary, airy design. At the threshold of this seamless indoor-outdoor space is an open-plan galley and bar which opens up onto the aft deck via a full-span sliding door, creating one huge entertaining space.
More entertaining space is found up on the flybridge, where a dining and sun pad area is completed with a barbeque, bar, and fridge, while the foredeck offers a magnificent lounge area curving around a small occasional table — the perfect spot for sunset canapes or a fresh juice after a swim. The yacht also has a hydraulic submersible swim platform where you can board the tender or climb out of the water with ease.
The level of design detail and craftsmanship continues to the yacht’s performance. With a top speed of 34 knots, an upgraded engineering package with V12 engines, and premium lighting and audiovisual equipment, this 23m British-built superyacht has the features and performance of a much larger yacht.
She runs with 3 crew, who are accommodated in an additional aft cabin.
