About This Yacht

This is a brand new 65.40m fully custom built Benetti yacht with sleek and clean lines spanning her six decks. The steel displacement hull and the superstructure, made with aluminium, painted in a classic white with aft in striking black.

Triumph boasts luxurious amenities, including a touch and go helipad located on the bow that can be transformed into the ultimate lounging area, sauna, fully equipped gym, massage room, jacuzzi and the beach club of the Lower Deck proposes an area of 70 square meters with a drop-down platform and immediate access to the sea.

The sun deck features an elegant jacuzzi, comfortable seating and a table for six that can be used even while navigating, thanks to ample wind sheltering. The aft cockpit on the main deck is an outdoor spot, sheltered yet in contact with the environment, perfect for conversation and relaxation at any time of day. Amidships, the large and bright living area, consisting of a dining and relaxation space, is complete with every comfort.

Green & Mingarelli Design arranged the elegant interiors and many furnishing details, closely following the direction of the Benetti Interior Style Department. All the artwork onboard is created by renowned British photographer David Yarrow. The sky lounge on the upper deck blends seamlessly with the welcoming aft outdoor spaces, outfitted with Indian Ocean custom furniture.

Triumph accommodates twelve guests in six sumptuous staterooms. The owner’s apartment, set over a sprawling 130 square meter area, takes full advantage of the deck’s spaciousness and stunning views. Also on the main deck, a large VIP stateroom considered as the second master dedicates an opulent suite to the guests. The sleeping area amidships includes two double cabins and two twin cabins with pullmans for an additional eight guests.

The engine room hosts a pair of MTU 12V 4000 M53 engines for a maximum speed of 16.5 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots. Triumph’s range at 12 knots is an impressive 4,700 miles. She has an impressive selection of water toys available to the guests, including 2 jet skis, 3 seabobs, custom inflatable jet ski/seabob station, towing inflatables, waterskis & wakeboards, snorkelling equipment, and custom-made electric bicycles. From Summer 2022 the latest Wally 48 2022 model in gunmetal grey will be available for the guests.

Captain Sean Read and his crew will take the utmost care of the guests to ensure an unforgettable charter experience in the West Mediterranean and Caribbean.

Captain

Sean

Sean originates from a small village in the English countryside and began his working life in the construction industry. In 1991 he departed the UK to go travelling for 9 months and spent the next 6 years circumnavigating the globe. Starting in Australia his work experiences began in restaurants and as a Divemaster on the Great Barrier Reef before continuing travel to include Asia, the Americas and ultimately working in New Zealand as a Chef. In 1997 Sean joined the Formula 1 ‘circus’ working for the McLaren Grand Prix team until one of the F1 drivers bought a yacht requiring crew, Sean jumped at the chance and began a new life at sea, initially as Chef/Deckhand before advancing to Captain in 2003. Since then, his career in the Superyacht industry has developed considerably to include extensive experience of both private and charter vessels of all sizes worldwide.Sean, his wife and two children divide their lives between England and a home in the French Riviera. He likes to spend spare time with his family, enjoys fast cars, cycling, hiking, golf, snowboarding and karting. He and his son both have their own Karts which, while his son races competitively, Sean attempts to be some sort of ‘wannabe’ Grand Prix driver...

Stewardess

Jade

Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Jade is Triumphs Spa Therapist, Hairstylist, Makeup Artist and also a qualified Somatologist. She loves to learn things about the body, health, and wellness each day. During her three years of studying at an academy in Stellenbosch she gained a passion for professionalism and hospitality. Following this she joined the yachting industry and has gained extensive experience on several large yachts, both private and charter. Being a travel enthusiast, she loves to meet new people all over the world and visit new and exciting destinations and yachting provides her with this opportunity.

Chief Officer

Corey

Corey was brought up on the stunning beaches of Northern Sydney, Australia. Rarely out of the water he is an avid surfer and water sports instructor. Corey found yachting 13 years ago through travel and hasn’t looked back since. He has exceptional charter experience and once again working with several existing crew from previous yachts will no doubt make a positive impression and leave you with some great memories of your time onboard Triumph. Corey is full of energy and will happily assist and teach a variety of sports including wake boarding, jet skiing, surfing, snorkelling and stand-up paddle boards.

Chief Officer

Hamish

Hamish is from London and now enjoys the cool vibes of living in East London, his favourite thing about living in the city is how multi-cultural it is. After finishing his education, he spent 3 winter seasons on the slopes as a Ski Guide. Now a keen off piste skier, Vaujany is his favourite location for hitting the slopes. Following his winter season escapades Hamish has now enjoyed 8 years working his way up through the yachting industry and re-joins colleagues from his previous two yachts to continue the proven team dynamic onboard Triumph. Hamish has a passion for music and travel, however looking way ahead to retirement, with his love for dogs he would love to own an animal shelter.

Second Officer

Trent

Trent was born and raised in a small surf town, Ballito South Africa hence coming from a strong ocean background. His passion and career now lie in Superyachts, and he is currently studying and working towards ultimately becoming a yacht Captain. He loves interacting and making guests feel comfortable whether it’s onboard or in the water. Having previously worked in the private and charter yacht industry, he understands the importance of 7-star service. During his time off Trent spends his time studying, traveling, surfing, staying active and catching up with family and friends.

Bosun

Aiken

Aiken was born in Windhoek, Namibia and moved to South Africa learning English at the age of 10. He is incredibly passionate about tennis and represented his province in the sport. Aiken is keen to help you develop your tennis skills or simply have a fun filled knock around the court. In his spare time, you’ll find him filming and editing travel videos, and enjoying any outdoor sports.Aiken has been working in the yachting industry for 5 years now and has been fortunate enough to include travels to the Baltic, Norway, Russia, Svalbard and has cruised as far north to 81°56.45N, only 490 miles from the North Pole on his first yacht breaking the record for the highest latitude achieved by any Superyacht. Aiken trusts you will have a thoroughly enjoyable stay on board and welcomes you to M.Y Triumph.

Deckhand

William

Growing up in the Southeast of England from a town called Chelmsford, ‘Will’ was Head Boy of his school and college. He is passionate about conservation and charity, after school setting up many voluntary events in his local area.He came into the yachting industry after leaving school having had a family interest in the sea growing up. He has been recreationally boating in the Mediterranean all his life encompassing various water sports and a favourite of his, free diving.Will has a great enthusiasm for all sports and onshore plays tennis four to five times a week along with many other pursuits. In addition to his sporting activities, he has established several business interests that follow his passion for global enterprise.Will has a great social circle and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Deckhand

Charlotte

‘Lottie’ grew up by the Coast in Cornwall, United Kingdom where she developed a fascination for wildlife and the ocean. She studied Wildlife Conservation at University and has a particular interest with cetaceans and spent 3 years studying Humpback Whales, Minke Whales, Sperm Whales and Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins in Australia, New Zealand and the Azores. In 2013 Lottie started working on research and dive vessels including a dive liveaboard boat which visited remote regions of the Great Barrier Reef.Lottie began her career in super yachting in June 2020 on Ragnar, an ice breaker explorer vessel spending the next 12 months travelling to remote locations including Iceland and the Indian Ocean to the Maldives for a busy charter season.Her hobbies include scuba diving, surfing and hiking. Being surrounded by the ocean is her favourite place to be and it is her dream to go to the Antarctic. She is very excited for the future ahead on Triumph.

Aaron

Aaron grew up in the South of France where he qualified from Paul Augier Catering schoolin Nice. He turned his passion for food to the yachting industry 8 years ago and has not lookedback. Yachting was always very close to Aaron growing up so ultimately, he transferred his passion forfood to the maritime industry. His first long term position took him to Moscow where he was based on a yacht developing his expertise in Mediterranean, Russian and Asian cuisine. Since then he has setup another new build yacht operating throughout the Mediterranean before a stint onboard a yacht based in the USA. His culinary journey started in his native South of France where he completed a three-year hospitality course, he proceed to work within many Michelin star restaurants including ‘Maze’ by Gordon Ramsay and the 3 Star Michelin restaurant ‘La Cote St Jacques’ in Bourgogne also passing through the 2 Michelin Star Joel Robuchon in The Metropole centre in Monaco. He later trained in Thailand, Japan, Russia and India in order to offer a wide repertoire of cuisines on board. His speciality is to entertain a live Omakase Sushi Bar for a unique Japanese Tasting Menu experience. He takes pride in his creative desserts, homemade Gelato and Freshly Baked Sourdough Breads. Aaron joins Triumph and looks forward to sharing his passion for food with you through his extensive worldwide experience.Bon Appétit!

Lola

Lola is originally from Devon, England. She has been a chef for 5 years, working shoreside in several restaurants and ski chalets before embarking on a career on Superyachts. She filled two previous roles as the Chef and Stewardess on both sailing and motor yachts before shifting her focus to the Galley to concentrate on her passion for cooking, continuing to learn while working behind some incredible chefs. Lola enjoys all types of baking, pastry and desserts. She loves cooking healthy hearty meals, with a range of fresh salads and vegetables. Her favourite cuisines are Mediterranean, Asian fusion, British classics, Indian and Italian. Lola has lots of good energy and loves the outdoors, hot or cold! she worked a ski Season as a chalet chef and loves skiing and snowboarding and also loves water sports while spending as much time as possible in or near the ocean. During her time off she enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.L

Aimee

Aimee has grown an extraordinary career as a seafarer across exceptional vessels up toimpressive sizes of 140m+. Her impressive longevity of almost 10 years in the industry has builther to be an incredible and insightful crew member. Aimee’s matured abilities at guest interactionhas come from her being successful in many departmental head roles managing many teams of crew, Aimee has learnt in more ways than one how to achieve outstanding service and delivery. Her insightful nature into what guest satisfaction requires is also built by her being so well travelled. At a young age Aimee has prospered through her career on superyachts and it has led her across the world to all the bucket-list destinations from South America and Antarctica, New York and America, the Mediterranean, the Red Sea and Abu Dhabi, Maldives and spreading east towards Thailand. In holding the knowledge gained she has been able to create the grandest adventures and most surreal experiences to be enjoyed onboard. As the Chief Stewardess onboard she is the Oracle of all things amazing to enjoy and with her creative qualities is able to provide unforgettable dream like getaways for you and your loved ones. An unparallel individual in her field, Aimee is a dream maker of the yachting industry retreat experience. Aimee grew up in the metropolitan City of Cape Town, South Africa where she attended Stellenbosch University focusing on Politics, Philosophy and Economics. Out of the work environment Aimee loves nature and adores animals, she also enjoys great food, loves to do yoga and is very interested in arts and culture.

Alexa

Alexa grew up on a small farm in the Southwest of England. She completed a degree in Economics from Cardiff University, and then opted for a more adventurous career into the yachting industry when she completed her studies. Alexa has been working on yachts for over 7 years now and has loved every minute. She maintains an active lifestyle and loves skiing, horse riding and tennis. Alexa is here as Chief Stewardess to assist you in what will be a delightful and memorable experience.

Mané

Mané was originally born in South Africa, but spent time growing up in Botswana.Her passion for the service industry started when she decided to complete a 4-year Hospitality Management degree at the University of Pretoria.Since 2018, she has dedicated her time and passion to the yachting industry working on several yachts now joining Triumph in a full time 2nd Stewardess role.From a young age Mané developed a love for keeping active and you will always find her going on a long run in her spare time. Her other hobbies are hiking, fishing and surfing reflecting that she is a person who loves to be outdoors and active.

Ashley

Ashley recently joined us from her first yacht in the Mediterranean, she was born and grew up in South Africa studying psychology before spending a year as an intern at a rehabilitation center. She joined the yachting industry this year completing one season as sole stewardess and has enjoyed every minute of it. Ashley’s love for travel and working with people has made yachting the perfect career for her. Ashley likes horse riding and showjumping, loves nature, beautiful sunsets and hiking outdoors. She is very excited to be onboard and a part of the Triumph crew!

Chief Engineer

Julian

Julian was born in the USA and grew up in the US Virgin Islands which sparked his interest in working on the water. He has a natural love of the sea and what the world has to offer by way of yacht cruising itinerary possibilities. He studied an Engineering apprenticeship in St Thomas combined with studying Engineering in the UK and now has a career on Superyachts spanning nearly 25 years.He started on his first yacht in 1997 and has extensive experience as build engineer on several new constructions, refit projects and operational yachts, his last yacht serving 11 years.Julian lives in the South of France with his family and likes to spend time Mountain Biking, Running, Sailing and most Water sports.

Chief Engineer

Fergus

Fergus has over 12 years’ experience of working at sea across a variety of sectors. After graduating in Naval Architecture in 2006 in Glasgow, he started his cadetship with Carnival UK Cruise lines in 2008. After spending 5 years working on cruise ships including P&O Australia, Cunard, and P&O Cruises, he worked in the Oil and Gas Industry off West Africa and Colombia on an exploration Drillship.The last four years Fergus has spent in the yachting industry as 2nd Engineer on an 86 metre Feadship. This is his first Chief Engineer position, and he is very excited about the fresh challenge a new yacht brings. He recently obtained his Unlimited Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency in March.Fergus enjoys surfing, skiing, water skiing, hillwalking, and team sports. He is happiest in the water or up a mountain. He has a young family and loves spending his time off with his girls in Scotland.

Barend

Barend grew up in a small fishing village of the west coast of South Africa. It is there where his love for the ocean began. As a kid he used to admire the local fisherman, heading out on their big trawler vessels, and bringing home loads of fish. Growing up, his love for engineering started as he attended an engineering school as early as grade 10. He went off to study Mechanical engineering after school and managed to graduate with a Bachelor of Technology Degree in mechanical Engineering.After his studies he worked as a hydraulic project engineer for 3 years in and around Cape Town. Barend has since established himself in Monaco as a Sole engineer on a private 36m Motor yacht after he began yachting 3 years ago.Barend loves the outdoors and everything that goes with it. Hiking, snowboarding, slalom skiing and basically any sort of sports. On holiday, you can find him cruising his local river on his little speedboat, while enjoying time with friends and family.

Engineer

Louis

Louis originates from a town called Northampton in England. This summer working onboard Triumph will be his first job working on a Superyacht which he is very excited about.He left school at 18 and based himself in Glasgow studying a marine engineering cadetship for the next 3 years. Following his successful qualification, he decided to jump straight into the world of Superyachts...Louis enjoys playing rugby and has played since the age of 4 but more recently has been focusing on working out in the gym. He loves watching Formula 1 racing and goes snowboarding most winters with friends and family.
