Built by Benetti in 2006, designed by Stefano Righini and under new ownership, Riva I offers a luxurious experience for cruising around the East Mediterranean. With recent upgrades, including new furnishings and accessories inside and out, she offers a sophisticated and unforgettable charter experience. Riva I offers accommodations for up to 12 guests, featuring five generously sized cabins and the option of transforming the sofa to a double bed converting the sky lounge into a sixth cabin with en suite.
The main deck holds the impressive Master cabin with a new ceiling, featuring an en suite with marble finishes and a connecting walk-through private study. On the lower deck, two double and two twin cabins, each with its own en suite, provide additional accommodations. The interior blends wood with light and airy cream furnishings, Giorgetti armchairs, Artemide light fixtures, and new Japanese-style artwork to create a timeless, sophisticated atmosphere. The main saloon is an inviting space for guests to gather for drinks or lounge in comfort. Featuring U-shaped seating, coffee tables, a bar, a television and entertainment system, and a dining area with seating for 10, the saloon is the perfect place for socializing.
Additionally, the sky lounge offers stunning views and is an additional cozy spot for guests. Riva I offers a variety of outdoor spaces, perfect for entertaining and socializing. The upper deck features a large circular dining table with Valtenesi chairs and a Paola Lenti sofa, while the fly bridge provides guests with a Jacuzzi, seating, sun pads, a barbecue, and a bar. An additional retreat is located on the main forward. Riva I also offers a variety of brand new water toys, making her an ideal choice for those looking to explore the stunning waters of the East Mediterranean.
Riva I’s highly experienced and welcoming crew will ensure that the charter guests are well-cared for. The talented chef will create a custom menu for each group, so guests can relax and savor the delicious gourmet meals, fine wines, and custom-made cocktails offered.

Born in 1986, Captain Iakovos is a highly skilled and accomplished mariner, holding a Captain Class B Certificate and graduating top of his class with honors from the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos. His exceptional academic performance was recognized with the prestigious 2018 Annual Scholarship from the International Propeller Club. Beyond his maritime expertise, Iakovos also holds a Bachelor of Science in Informatics and Telecommunications from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, demonstrating his sharp analytical skills and technical knowledge. A lifelong sailing enthusiast, he possesses a broad range of maritime certifications, including sailing, speedboat, and diving licenses. His professional career spans cruise liners and bulk carriers, before transitioning into the yachting industry in 2019. Since then, he has served as an officer aboard prestigious yachts ranging from 55m to 95m, achieving his first captaincy in 2024. As the Captain of M/Y Riva I, Iakovos is dedicated to delivering an unparalleled yachting experience, ensuring that every journey is safe, luxurious, and tailored to guests’ desires. He brings strong technical expertise in engine room operations, maintenance procedures, and ISM/ISPS compliance. With a “hands-on” work ethic and the ability to perform under pressure, he ensures the vessel operates at peak performance and safety standards at all times. Dimosthenis is a team player and leader, known for his attention to detail, adaptability, and commitment to excellence. Born on April 20, 1992, he is Greek and currently based in Athens. He holds a Chief Engineer Unlimited KW license and has completed certifications including ERM, Medical Care on Board, Ship Security Officer, STCW, Advanced Firefighting, Tanker Safety Advanced, and more. His yachting background includes chef positions on board M/Y WHATEVER, M/Y MAKANI, M/Y PANDION, and M/Y JULIE M, along with a private chef role on the Livanos family’s private island. His culinary journey began in high-end restaurants and five-star hotels such as Sani Resort, eventually transitioning into yachting where he has refined his skills in provisioning, menu planning, and executing diverse, seasonal menus. Charalampos holds a Culinary Technical Degree from the renowned “Le Monde” Institute, supplemented by advanced seminars in sous-vide techniques, fusion cuisine, and French and Italian gastronomy.
