The Invitation
Mediterranean elegance. South Pacific beauty. A rare opportunity to charter one of the world’s most prestigious yachts — 4A, the award-winning 40 Alloy by Sanlorenzo. Imagine drifting through warm, glassy waters with the Whitsundays sun overhead and the promise of new horizons ahead. The only sounds are the gentle splash of the wake and seabirds gliding above.
Welcome aboard 4A. Crafted in Italy by Sanlorenzo and winner of the prestigious Superyacht of the Year award, she has been tailor-made for those who expect more from their time at sea.
Introducing 4A
At 39.4 metres, 4A is a rare combination of design pedigree and modern performance. Built entirely from aluminium, her metallic silver hull and clean, sculpted lines turn heads in every harbour.
Italian Craft, Pacific Spirit
4A’s design is the product of Sanlorenzo’s unmatched craftsmanship. Her pure lines, balanced proportions, and metallic silver hull are instantly recognisable from afar. Inside, her layout is open and inviting, designed for a natural flow between spaces and a seamless connection to the sea.
Awarded Superyacht of the Year in 2008, 4A represents the pinnacle of Mediterranean design sensibility — now perfectly attuned to the Australian and wider South Pacific lifestyle.
Cruising Grounds
Primarily based in Australia, 4A spends her seasons among the turquoise lagoons of the Whitsundays and the world-renowned coral gardens of the Great Barrier Reef.
For those seeking horizons beyond, she has the capability to roam — from the long sandy beaches along Australia’s east and north coasts to the distant islands of Fiji and other jewels of the South Pacific — carrying her signature blend of Mediterranean elegance and South Pacific spirit wherever you choose to go.

Johnny grew up in Sydney shaping landscapes rather than coastlines — working on major projects like the 2012 London Olympics and the Gold Coast Botanical Gardens. A ski season overseas introduced him to yachting… and he’s never looked back.
Twelve years on, Johnny has worked on yachts across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and the U.S., even earning A Crew’s Best Charter Boat of the Year award in 2018. Now back home, he leads 4A with a steady hand, sharp seamanship, and a good sense of humour.
Johnny’s all about keeping things safe, smooth, and seriously fun. Whether it’s water sports, beach BBQs, or off-the-map exploring, he makes sure every trip is one to remember — for all the right reasons
Originally from Canada’s Lake Country, Shelby grew up on the water — literally. She spent her childhood sailing the world on her dad’s boat, so it’s no surprise she found her way into yachting. Before life at sea, she was designing bars and training hospitality teams, so she knows how to create an atmosphere guests never want to leave.
For the past four years, Shelby has brought her eye for detail, love of travel, and passion for exceptional service to the world of superyachts. Now based in Australia, she blends a European sense of style with that signature Aussie ease.
Think sunset cocktails, flawless table settings, and the kind of effortless service that makes you feel like the yacht was made just for you. Shelby’s all about those little touches that turn a trip into something truly unforgettable.
With over 20 years’ experience in top restaurants, resorts, and remote luxury locations, Luke has built his career around creating food that makes people feel something. He’s worked everywhere from Melbourne’s most celebrated kitchens to island resorts on the Great Barrier Reef — and now brings his impressive skillset (and seriously good flavours) to 4A.
Luke lights up when talking about menu ideas, loves surprising guests with creative touches, and somehow makes dietary requirements feel like a delicious adventure. Whether it’s fresh seafood straight off the line, a fivecourse tasting menu, or a beach BBQ with a twist, he crafts every dish with thought, creativity, and plenty of heart.
If you’re lucky, you might find him in the galley chatting herbs or geeking out over smoked butter — but most of the time, he’s busy ensuring every guest leaves the table happier than when they sat down.
