Puerto Rico is located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. It is the the smallest and most easterly island of the Great Antilles. As well as the main island of Puerto Rico, there are several smaller islands to visit including Vieques, Culebra, Mona, Desecheo, and Caja de Muertos. The climate in Puerto Rico is generally pleasant all year round, although please be aware that Puerto Rico has a hurricane season from June to November and extreme caution is required if you plan on sailing during these months. Average temperatures are between 22C and 32C, with June being the hottest month.
