Welcome back to Boataffair blog where we continue our ongoing series into the exciting countries where we operate and go beyond the guide book with local, authentic experiences curated by our boat owners. In today’s post we head past Rome and to Nettuno and the beautiful, sights and sounds of this stunning region and historic port. Dating back to the 13th century, Nettuno (some believe that it is named after the Roman god of the sea Neptune) has attracted visitors all over the world for centuries. We jump on board with our local boat owners and discover authentic experiences in this amazing part of the world.

At Boataffair we love to discover and share with you authentic, little known places and experiences for you to explore and enjoy.
Continuing with our country profile series we turn towards the rugged and rural Galician coast of Northern Spain and explore places of interest, delicious delicacies and all you need to know about renting a boat in Vigo. Not many people immediately think of Northern Spain as a holiday or boating destination, but what you find there is quite amazing, unusual and exciting. Definitely beats the traditional holiday destinations overpopulated with tourists!

At Boataffair we are passionate about tailored experiences, start-ups, the sharing economy, travel and all things authentic. We have been running our country series to showcase all the beautiful experiences you can have in different countries. Whilst we love to talk about boating and beautiful destinations, we also love to share authentic companies and people we meet on our journey. Today, we head to the charming streets of Knightsbridge to discover a British designer whose clothing and accessories are only available in London. As Boataffair’s founders have both spent a long time living in London, this city and its little hidden gems such as Lalage Beaumont’s boutique are very close to their hearts.
