What defines a Superyacht and how is it different from a Luxury Motor Yacht? What should you expect from the Superyacht Charter?
A superyacht is a yacht from 24 meters and above. However, there is no generally written rule, set in stone, that defines that any yacht above a certain length, a defined price or equipment must be called a superyacht.
A superyacht charter offers the following and, hence, it is the services around this type of yacht charter that predominantly defines the superyacht:
They are luxurious yachts that come with a highly trained and experienced crew to make your yacht charter unforgettable, safe and smooth. A crew of 8-14, with each crew member in their area of expertise from diving instructors to yoga teachers and massage therapists. Gourmet dining is a must, as is a selection of fine wines and champagnes available on board. It’s an experience like no other with the pampering of the guests taken to a whole new level.
An all-inclusive price will include a full-board gourmet menu, accommodation and professional large crew, fresh fruit juices, selected locally sourced drinks, alcoholic beverages, barbeques, water toys (fly board, jet ski, wakeboard, SUP, water ski and so on), laundry and pressing services, and visits to national parks and/or landmarks and more upon request.
Complimentary services are also a matter of course. VIP transfers to and from the airport often in a limousine, discretionary fruit baskets, honeymoon and birthday specials, Wi-Fi, local fishing gear: All these services are included in the charter rate.
The living areas outside and inside, the swimming platforms, the dining areas as well as the bathrooms – they are all luxurious and very spacious. Bespoke entertainment systems onboard, bespoke furniture and interiors carefully styled and crafted by top interior designers to ensure pure luxury, comfort and elegance.
